The Equipment Manager:
-- Manages and coordinates the Chapter's athletic equipment and uniforms.
-- Advises staff in health and safety equipment requirements; budgets, plans, develops, and analyzes the purchasing of athletic equipment and uniforms.
-- Assists in budget development for individual athletic programs.
-- Confers with coaches to review purchases and maintenance of equipment; prepares and updates a variety of records and reports concerning all athletic equipment and uniforms; prepares proposals for purchasing.
-- Negotiates with vendors/wholesalers for purchasing discounts.
-- Develops a strategy/calendar for equipment repair and maintenance of equipment.
-- Maintains and updates a variety of records and reports concerning all athletic equipment and uniforms.
-- Supervise and train staff, coaches, and students; coordinates game set up, equipment and team travel.
-- Performs related duties as assigned.
