Lisa Moses is a native of New Haven, Ct where she played 4 years of varsity high school basketball. In her senior year she was selected as the first athlete, male or female from her high school to make the “All State Team”. After graduation she moved to Maryland.

After several years away from basketball she organized and played on a Woman’s team called the Cougars that participate in county leagues which won several championships.

Lisa joined the MYBA family when her daughter Alesha (then 7) played on the 2005 9U Girls team which won the first 9U Maryland State Championship. Lisa has been with the MYBA program since 2005 as a parent, coach and now a board member.

Lisa's goal with the Wildcats is to keep our children active by putting them on the basketball court. She believes that our children will become better adults by participating in any youth sports program. They will learn discipline, teamwork, sportsmanship, self confidence and realize that nothing is easy; you must work hard to excel in whatever you do.
