Josh Brunvoll '11

Josh Brunvoll is an Avalon baseball alumni, and played three seasons of college baseball at Montgomery College and NCAA DII Nyack College.
In his only season at the junior college level, Brunvoll appeared in 43 games, batted .309, and drove in 20 runs. As an outfielder, he helped the Gryphons earn a trip to the Junior College World Series in Waco, Texas.
As a player at Avalon, Brunvoll was a highly decorated veteran. He was selected Old Line Baseball Conference Most Valuable Player and also earned Gazette All-Baseball honors in his senior year.
In the fall of 2010, Brunvoll competed in the Under Armour All-American Tournament in Pirate City, Florida.
In 2011, he broke the career home run record (10) and single season home run record (7). He represented the South Region in the MSABC All-Star Classic selection at the University of Maryland to cap off a successful senior season.
Brunvoll, who will work with hitters, infielders, and outfielders, played on two State Championship teams at Avalon (2009, 2010).
He is an assistant with Dig In Baseball's Maryland Collegiate Baseball club.
