Coach Scott is a seasoned coach entering his 33rd year in the field, bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to his role. Currently leading the 15 Navy team, Scott's coaching journey has spanned various age groups, from 12 regional to 18 open. His coaching achievements are impressive, with his teams consistently qualifying for the USA nationals, having secured a notable 3rd place and bronze medal in 2019. Notably, three years ago, his 17 Navy team clinched a commendable 9th place at the AAU national championships. Beyond coaching, Scott holds the position of Associate Director, where he coordinates and oversees off-season camps and clinics. His dedication extends beyond the court, evident in his passion for nurturing young athletes and witnessing their growth, both in skills and personal development. Scott's commitment to the sport is matched by his profound knowledge of the game. However, what truly sets him apart is his genuine enthusiasm for helping young athletes succeed not only in their athletic pursuits but also in life beyond the court. On a personal note, Scott is a family man, married to Michelle, and proud father to daughters Regan and Riley, both of whom were members of NOVA and continued their volleyball journey in college. Scott's coaching philosophy revolves around fostering success, not just as athletes but as individuals, making him a respected figure in the coaching community.
