At Champion HS - 3 year letterman; 2 time all conference performer. Coached by 3 time Trumbull County Coach of the Year Bill Thorne.

Member of 1990 NABF National Champion and Junior Olympic Runner Up - Manchester A's. As a member of the A's was coached by 3 Greater Akron Baseball Hall of Fame Coaches - Kevin Dunn, Jerry Vance and John Sibbio

Has coached on the travel and tournament baseball circuit for about 8 years now and worked privately with pitchers and catchers over the past 4 years.
