Coach Travis Clapp will be coaching his second year with the Knights.
He will be coaching TE's and assisting with the offensive line. In addition he will also be the Fresh/soph and JV special teams Coordinator. He previously coached in our Knights Youth football league for four years. Travis has also helped with youth Basketball for both boys and girls.

Travis is a 1999 Graduate of Union High School. Where he played as Tight end, Linebacker, and Punter.

After High school Travis went on to attend Hawkeye community college where he received an AAS in Electrical Engineering Technology. Travis then went to the University of Northern Iowa, where he received his BA in Technology Management.

Travis Is currently a Product Development Specialist at John Deere in Waterloo.

He Lives in La Porte City with His wife Kristi and their three kids; Kegan, Meagan, and Tyler
