Julie has a true passion for swimming, coaching and teaching! She is an energetic coach who has experience at the high school level, is skilled with workouts and stroke instruction and is willing to work hard to help student athletes reach their personal and athletic goals.

Why I like coaching high school?
I like coaching high school because I love sharing the love of the sport. I enjoy helping the students improve their skills and times. Swimming requires lots of hard work which prepares you for life. The best part is the team and witnessing all the friendships made through all the good times.

Personal Accomplishments

-1st place junior nationals age 16, 200 yard butterfly
-8 time high school individual event CIF first place finisher
-Current holder of Agoura High School record 100 yard butterfly since 1986
-Inducted to the Agoura High School Hall of Fame 2012

-Top Ten butterflyer at the University of Southern California
-2 time Team Captain at the University of Southern California

-1994-1999: Head Varsity Coach Girls Swim Coach

-Took the team from a 6th place league status to first place in 5 years
-Team included 7 CIF qualifiers after five years
