Brett Richard here! Fun-loving, easygoing, and?some say?hardheaded. You know, a typical guy. I grew up in Waskom, Texas, playing Texas football and baseball. I work in the oilfield industry and own and run two oilfield companies.

I met my beautiful wife back in my wild college days but didn?t manage to sweep her off her feet until later in life. Fate led us back to each other years later, and I married my best friend, Lauren, in 2020. I gave her three spirited future cheerleaders, and she gave me a heck of a running back. We make a great team.

I have a love for Jesus, football, hunting, fishing, family, and helping today?s youth?maybe not in that order! I am beyond excited to be the BYFF Football Commissioner and look forward to learning the business end of football while watching your kids grow to love the game as much as I do.
