Coach Ed has coached girls basketball at various levels since 2000. After years of volunteering his time as an assistant to both J.V. and Varsity Girls programs at a local HS in Pasadena, Coach Ed took on the challenge of mentoring and developing their Middle School Girls program which he founded in 2002.
From humble beginings, the team became teams and evolved into a full scale Club team now known as the Pasadena Vikings. The Club is currently comprised of 7 girls teams ranging from grades 2 through 8. High School teams are added in March/April. Our teams participate in year round basketball training and tournament play in venues as distant as Texas and Indiana as well as a full slate of tournaments throughout the southland which include some of the largest events in the nation.
We participate in leagues, clinics and host numerous tournaments of our own each year. We additionlly travel on a annual basis to Independent, AAU, BCI, ARC and other sports organizations. Our program proudly sends players to High School ready to play and prepared for the next level. We have relationships with the top schools in Pasadena and have had great success having players receive scholarships to attend.
Our endeavor and passion is to develop and motivate young ladies to their highest potential both academically and athletically using the game of basketball not as an end in itself, but rather as a tool to encourage, train and inspire young ladies to new heights in personal growth and exposing them to the limitless possibilities hard work and commitment can bear..
WE DO NOT RECRUIT PLAYERS AWAY FROM OTHER TEAMS IN ORDER TO BUILD OUR CLUB! WE ENCOURAGE ALL TEAMS WE INTERACT WITH TO PLEASE RESPECT WHAT WE ARE TRYING TO ACCOMPLISH AND NOT ATTEMPT TO RECRUIT AWAY ANY OF OUR PLAYERS!
Vikings play with PRIDE, AND PASSION! If you think you have the heart of a Viking, give myself, Coach Ed 626 831 5190 or Coach KayCee (626) 393 8269 a call and we'll get back to you soon.
Viking Basketball Rocks!
