I, undersigned applicant for Coach/Assistant Coach, do hereby acknowledge and understand the following requirements and responsibilities of coaching in GYGSA softball and agree to abide by these requirements and all others that may be enacted by the board.

Every Coach will be responsible for the sportsmanship of his/her players.

Every Coach will be responsible for assuring that parents/adults are available for concession duty as assigned by the league.

Every Coach will be responsible for pregame preparation of the field and post game trash pickup.

Every Coach will be responsible for obtaining and having present at the games: scorekeepers, picking up trash around the stand and dug out.

Every Coach will be responsible for adherence to all League Rules, including those concerning sportsmanship and player participation.

GYGSA has hired out all of the background checks to process. GYGSA or anyone else will not provide any specifics about your background check or any other personal information. GYGSA will only be notified if you pass/fail. GYGSA criteria for coaches/assistant coaches is not having any felonies in the past seven years and having no record of a sex crime.
