Teams are built using age and talent parity within each age group, per county league rules. Due to these rules, special requests cannot be guaranteed and refunds are not issued related to requests to play on a specific team. Requests to change teams or add requests, after teams are built, will not be accepted. See the FAQ section of our website for more info about the season format and rules governing special requests.

2025 SPRING SOFTBALL AGE GROUPS AND STATUS
Player may play up into an older age group but can not play down into a younger age group. See age chart in Handouts section for details.


06U - Born 2018 - 2020 (OPEN)
08U - Born 2016 - 2018 or younger (OPEN)
10U - Born 2014 - 2015 or younger (WAIT LISTING) - Click here to be added to the Wait List for a spot to open.
12U - Born 2012 - 2013 or younger (WAIT LISTING) - Click here to be added to the Wait List for a spot to open.
14U - Born 2010 - 2011 or younger (WAIT LISTING) - Click here to be added to the Wait List for a spot to open.
19U - Born 2005 - 2009 or younger (OPEN)

CONSENT AUTHORIZATION AND RELEASE WAIVER
As the parent or legal guardian of the child named on this form, I hereby give my full consent and approval for my child to participate as a team member in the sport designated. I also contend that all the information completed on this form is accurate and true to the best of my knowledge.

I understand that there are certain risks of injury inherent in the practice and play of this sport, as well as in traveling and other related activities incidental to my child's participation, and I am willing to assume these risks on behalf of my child. I hereby certify that my child is fully capable of participating in the designated sport and that my child is healthy and has no physical or mental disabilities or infirmities that would restrict full participation in these activities, except as listed on this form.

In addition to giving my full consent for my child's participation, I do hereby waive, release, absolve, indemnify and agree to hold harmless "Havenwood Community Girls Softball League, Inc." and all its organizers, officers, representatives, managers, coaches, officials, sponsors, participants, players and those transporting the players to and from league/team activities for any claim arising out of injury that may be suffered by my child in the normal course of participation in the designated sport and the activities incidental thereto, whether the result of negligence or any other cause. This authorization shall include all league/team activities, including, but not limited to, the period required to travel to and from those activities.

I, as parent or legal guardian of the player registered in this form, hereby grant permission to the adult manager or coach of the league/team to obtain medical care from any licensed physician or hospital for the player named herein at such times as either parent or legal guardian cannot be contacted in person or by telephone."
