Firecracker Baseball Field Usage Agreement

The use of Lower Dauphin School District fields is a privilege granted to Firecracker Baseball Tournaments by the Lower Dauphin school district. Field usage is managed by a committee approved by the Lower Dauphin High School.

This is an agreement that must be agreed to and submitted by a representative of Firecracker Tournaments for the use of Nye Field.

Parking Requirements: Parking is permitted in the school parking lot and on the streets down the first and third base lines. Cars may not park in or block driveways of the homes surrounding the field.

Scheduling: All game scheduling is the responsibility of Firecracker Tournaments.

Field Preparation: Lower Dauphin is responsible for preparing the field prior to the start of game play each day. Firecracker Tournaments is responsible for field preparation and clean up for all games following game 1 and at the end of play each day of the tournament.

Field usage requirements.
* Field must be raked/dragged at conclusion of play each day
* Sweep dugouts at conclusion of play each day
* Pick up any trash and/or bottles at conclusion of play each day.

The tournament official submitting this request certifies that he/she has the authority to accept responsibility on behalf of Firecracker Tournaments to agree to the terms identified in this agreement. The representative submitting the request further assumes full responsibility for the supervision of all teams, coaches, players and families and the safety of other participants who will be on Lower Dauphin School District property and will hold harmless the Lower Dauphin School District or any of its representatives from any liability or responsibility, and further agrees to indemnify Lower Dauphin School district or any of its representatives and hold them harmless from any losses, including court costs and/or attorney fees.

Firecracker Tournaments agrees to provide proof of insurance for all teams participating at Nye Field to Lower Dauphin School District or its representatives.
