| Bulls send E-Con to the mound against Canning. Dodgers get 4 in the bottom of the first. Bulls score 3 in 3rd to make a game of it, but just couldn't cash in on some key chances with men in base. 2 costly defensive mistakes, a botch double play and a harmless fly ball undid the Bulls as they went on to lose 8-4.
Congrats to Rod Holinaty and the Dodgers who were unquestionably the better team in this series.
The Bulls leave 2006 beyond, dissapointed in coming up short of their goal, but still happy about a grear seaon that saw their first pennant, a 16 tournament victory and a berth in the Finals for 2 straight years.
With the win, the Dodgers are now the ONLY team in the OSSBA with a winning record against the Bulls.
Bulls thank their sponsor, Burlington Bowl. Their support from all fans including Cindy Lord is the backbone of the behind the scenes. Thanks as well to Dave Buckley, Dave Margetts and Steve Favalaro for the support in parks and umpires. And a big thanks to Steve Smith, who continues to make this league one of the best organizations in Ontario.

| Mike, James, Steve & the entire Bulls squad:
Your club had a fantastic season and despite not winning back-to-back championships, have accomplished so much in your first two years in OSSBA (as Mike described in his post). Keep up the tremendous effort guys and I'm sure you'll be right there again next summer fighting for the championship.

| Hey, I just want to say, on behalf of the Brooklin Dodger team, thanks for a great year/series. You guys are a true class act, on and off the field. I know sometimes when teams get down a couple, they start to chirp, or play dirty....but with you guys, it was true sportsmanship all the way through, even after the "botched" call at first base in game 2. Thanks again And see you boys next year Jarvie

| Thanks Jarvie... there was nothing really to bitch about... 2 teams played really hard... one team just played better. The botched call in Game 2 is a non-issue (had we lost in 4 or 5... who knows ; )
It's easy to win. It's hard to lose. We were fortunate enough to get past 2 good teams who lost with alot of heart, sportsmanship and class (the Twins and Stars) and though it's certainly not something we want to get used to, when a team outplays you... you tip your cap, have a few beers in the parking lot and get ready to do it again next year.
