| Ronnie makes a good point about ice time being at risk, and I don't think it's being helped by the Pirates' plight being in the national press (well, the Daily Record - I suppose that's close enough!). This probably gives the impression that ALL Paisley clubs are in bother, and malicious gossip will therefore prosper. The sources of these rumours about the Panthers, if identified, should be brought to book and reported where possible. I'm sure if someone from our club tried to say that the teams at Hamilton, Glenrothes or Murrayfield were in financial difficulties then they ould be quick to 'deal' with it! Personally, I find the Thursdays impossible to travel to due to work & distance issues, so I'm probbaly not the best person to speak about this, but if as many people as possible within driving distance of Kilmarnock (around 25 miles is reasonable I'd say) then they should be able to go most weeks, When I played at Livingston on a Thursday night, that was roughly the distance from my home in Edinburgh at the time and didn't take too long to travel back and forward. Obviously if we can get weekend ice time at some point in the future it would help. Surely there must be an option for that somewhere - even early in the morning? I know that might interfere with some peoples' hangovers but it would be a sacrifice worth making!! Don't let the club die, especially at the hands of others !!

| Paul, good to see you're keeping in touch with what's going on. To echo Ronnie, we need as many bodies down as possible, it is the only way we will keep going through the problems with the Lagoon, and please don't assume that Braehead is a definite. For the minute, we are only looking at Kilmarnock until someone tells us otherwise.

| Thanks for your imput Paul. Rumers will always abound in Ice Hockey. It's how some people operate, but don't worry, I went over to Kilmarnock this morning and spoke to the Deputy Manager and he assures us that it is the Galleon Management which sets the schedules and our slot is safe!

| Awrite lads hows it going sorry I've not been at training past few weeks work and travel distance (45 miles) is making it difficult to get to training. I will be back in a couple of weeks so the 5 hole open slot will resume as normal as well as all the other gaps.
See you's soon, Fraser. (Teabag)
