| Bulls opened their season facing the Tigers with Jon Leyland getting the start in game 1.
The Bulls got out to a lead in the 2nd inning on a 2 RBI triple by Jason Hogan and Leyland pitched 6. Leyland K'ed 6 in his 6 innings of work with the only blemish being a run run home run to Boisenault. Jamie Kozak pitched the 7th with the Bulls up 6-2 and some shaky defense saw 3 run cross the plate before the Bulls recorded the final out winning 6-5.
In game 2, McKnight was the victim of some defensive miscues and the Tigers got up 1-0 after their first at bats. Bul stormed back with 4 in the bottom of the first led off by a Jamie Kozak 2 run homerun. McKnight went 6 allowing 3 unearned runs and K'ing 7 behind some strong offense from himself with a single and double and Andrew Swagers 2 doubles.
Swagers pitched a scoreless 7th K'ing 2 and the Bulls go to 2-0 on the season with an 8-3 win.
The win puts the Bulls to a perfect 6-0 on opening day (3-0 Leyland, 3-0 McKnight) and despite some not stellar defense, the Bulls bats were able to overcome knocking out 14 runs in the double header while allowing only 2 earned runs (of the total 8 runs)
Bulls are next in action against the Bengals with Eric Conlon, Kyle Pitman and Bryan Blasko returning to the lineup and Conlon and Kozak getting the starts.
