| Quite honestly, to have lost that game the way we did, to a team that basically had only nine men, was nothing but abominable and embarrasing to boot - in front of the ex manager of the Paisley Pirates too!
Everyone reverted to doing their own thing AGAIN ; Noboby picked up the men they should have been watching, especially when we were on the defence, and left them to home in like cruise missiles when the radar's gone for tea & doenuts!!.

| If you want my opinion, ( and you probably don't !) We did a few things wrong in the 3rd period - We went for a win, when we already had it, and should have consoladated, and took our chances when we got them. We took too long to change over the D, and will need to either change 1 d at a time or wait for a whistle with the big ice. The D played to deep in their half, looking for goals, and that includes me. Too many times we were 1 on 1 on the keeper and never scored. If we need practice at this, we will need to do this at practice, never mind the old (no deek,no deek). Sorry for ALL the guys I've upset, but you got me on one ! Stonewall

| i agree with bill on the D changes, either wait for a whistle or dump the puck and get off. We were caught out on a number of bad changes. Could always do some of these line changes at training.
D men playing too deep in their half, i was always trained to sit on the blue line while we were on attack to try and keep the puck in the zone. I feel our main problem is with the D playing too deep in their own half. Which allows the opposition to break out with ease and charge at the defense. Problem is if we sit at the blue line and they get by us its non contact so you cant hit them to stop them :) On the same point when a D man charges forward (guilty a few times) either the winger or the center should take over his position at the blue line giving cover if the puck is lost.
