| Alrighty guys!
As everyone knows this is goin to be one hell of a tough game after last weekend where we beat Hamilton 7-6 (just incase you hadn't heard). I have no doubt that each and everyone of us is completely up for it 100%.....Unfortunately I have a slight issue about this game!!!
I've only got one White Sock!!!! And to tell the truth it's not even mine!! It's Kenny's!! Could someone please lend me one for the game as I don;t want the wrath of Faitha on Thursday as I'm sure I read somewhere he wants us all to look like we haven't borrowed our kit from the skip....if you have it in your heart to help a young man from the south of Glasgow then please bring an extra white sock on Thursday night...Thank you kind sirs for your generosity and warmth in my time of need!!!

| Just on the matter of socks guys - On Saturday night, the new, red team socks were distributed to those playing in the game. The intention is that you all pay £5 for the red socks and when all the cash has been collected, we will put it towards a new, complete set of white socks.
Anyone who hasn't yet got red socks will be given them asap.

| Ronnie, can I draw your attention to Geo's entry on the forum in June titled 'Standing Orders'. This confirms a committee decision that the July standing order fees were going to pay for white strips AND home & away socks.

| Ronnie, since we have enough red socks to kit out the whole team, and we won wearing the redsocks on saturday, why dont we save the home shirts for the next home game and wear the RED strips? call me superstitious!!
they'll be wearin dark blue so it wont really cause any problems would it?!!

| Don't know about that one Gaz. I'm not superstitious - I believe in searching out and maximising the skills and powers that we have been given, even if we are skatin' about in the Oh Be Joyfulls. I would say that when playing at home - wear the (new)home strips!Bill will want to wear 'McMeekin' not 'McMeacheon'!!!

| whats the chances of wairing the red socks, as i dont think i have any white shocks. and if i do their about halfway up my shins.
also saves me having to track down a pair of buffalo socks!!!

Anyways I'm fine with whatever Strip/Socks that we wear! The only thing I care about just now is making sure I/we play the best we can to make sure we win the Cup for the 1st time!!!

| guys cant i tried.... Tried to get home from London this week but todays flights were all sold out. Was trying to get back in time for the hockey after speaking to my boss he said it was fine to go back as Friday is a travel day. Sigh.
All I can say guys is good luck tonight and let me know how it goes.
Teabag if they take photos of the cup then i will bring a mug to the next practice so we can get photos taken :)
