| Big news around the futbol world today
Today, it was diagnosed that Ronaldo, 3 time FIFA player of the year and 2 time world cup champion will undergo possible career ending surgery on his left knee tendon.
In more serious news, BFM was notified today by Dave O'Brien's representatives that most of the season may be lost due to an injured back, reeling the JCFC management into a last minute covenant. The season begins in 38 days and JCFC is feeling the heat to adjust.

| Update:
Dave O'Brien's team at Irish Athletics Management has decided to rest the 2nd year veteran for most of the near future. It's also been clarified that he's got more than a back problem as earlier indicated. JCFC is looking to capture the title, but will need a fast start to the season, which should begin March 23
