| a reminder appears to be in order. as a team we agreed to these items over one year ago. we are here because we want to be here. our goal as a team is to win, have fun, make new friends.
However as has been posted here and said elsewhere many timesTEAM comes first. No one is above the team.
A covenant was agreed to so there would be no question as to what's what.
1 – Lateness Training: 7.45 be there for 8.00 start Match day: 8.15am pre game means be there at 8.15 ready for warm up drills and any other pre match admin / nets / lining field.
2- The cardinal sin – not showing up on a Sunday with no notice is not acceptable. The more notice we get the better obviously, but just not showing up will not be tolerated.
4 - Training - all squad members expected to be there unless management told. Others by invite only, check with (Barry, Angry, Juan) if you would like to bring someone. 5 - Training - management to do a better job of laying out training sessions but expect an element of fitness/stretching/ball control work with George to start at 8.00. Then appropriate drills, finishing with scrimmage, increasingly with starting XI vs. rest as makes sense. Management will get more organized as to what drills we will do. 6 - Statmeister - Speedy taking over keeping game/training stats etc. 7 - Kit/laundry - Mary P will keep track of who has taken turns at and who is up now for laundry duty for 2 kits and bibs. When she decides it’s your turn, then it’s your turn, suck it up – everyone should expect to do kit 1-2 times and shirts once. Do not tumble dry the shirts let them hang dry as this lessens the chance of shrinking them…. 8 - Let BFM, Angry & Juan know as soon as possible if you are not 100% for upcoming games. If you can play but do not think you are at full fitness it is not acceptable for us to find this out on Sunday morning particularly when there is someone who is 100% not dressed that week. 9 – Turn up on Sunday ready to play, everyone is giving up time to play so treat them with enough respect to not turn up pissed from the night before, we’re not saying don’t have a beer, but turning up at the merchant on Saturday at 2.30 am stinking drunk does not suggest that you’re going to be able to produce your best On the Sunday morning: 10 - If tired on the pitch, take yourself out - use the subs when we have strength in depth, winning the games is critical and having the energy on the field to make that run, both to support in attack or cover in defense, especially if we have cover on the side will help to have a successful season. Larry in particular is great at this. 11 - Discipline - In game, if you get a yellow card expect to take a breather for 10 minutes. If it's because you lost control you are done for the game. 13 - If we have strength on the sidelines than everyone should expect to take a break both so the individual player has more energy to play the 70 minutes and also to make sure that more people get a decent run out. We need to understand who plays better in a continuous block and who is comfortable taking more frequent breaks. BAJ will get better at this and we'll try to have an idea of how to work it before games - obviously once the game starts things may prevent this from being followed - but we'll try to have a plan. On this last point (13) we have a plan hatched over the summer which we have followed to a 4-1 start with two different folks running the sidelinewe will continue this approach as the season progresses and adjust as necessary.

| Great reminder Gaffer.
1. Larry keeps stats for goals, assists, and games played. Speedy keeps tabs on practice attendance.
2. Playing time. Obviously, this Sunday, some people may not have received the time they felt they deserve on the pitch, BUT, team is first, and when called upon, subs must be ready to get on the pitch and make immediate impact. Management has done the best possible job to get everyone on the pitch. This year, JCFC is carrying the most talented squad in years. So in past, subs were used less and as the season progesses, this will improve. And yes, please please take yourself out if you cannot make it back on defense or make the run on offense. It's not like you'll be out for the remainder of the game. No harm in raising the hand to be sub'd out. We got awesome talent off the bench this year.
The goal is to have fun, have fun winning, make great friendships, and have fun drinking pints.
