| 7/21 Training Showed late due to work only to find that at 830p... we had yet to start...not good...good turnout, lots of new guys, Luis on the sideline still a bit swollen but coming along, snake showed at the end in his spiffy hat looking for pints, Bobby's bag was snagged by a pair of locals whilst no one was watching
Let's all try for 8pm at the pitch so we can start promptly thereafter the longer we take to get going, the harder it is to get others off the pitch.
Keep an eye on things, close the gate behind us when we start and keep the bags secured within one of the two bench areas or inside the goal. We've heard gunshots, had a bag stolen last night and had someone steal a ball bouncing on the street lets be safe out there.
on Inventories...
I have the yellow, the green and the black kits, nice and clean and hanging in my basement.
the first set of pinnies green bag were lost due to someone leaving them on the pitch..
the second set of pinnies black and red adidas bag with cones is missing already.. WTF? who had it last?
Two ball bags one with four white balls... we think is in Eddie's car.
The other ball bag, with the older balls, including the yellow/blue nike's, the lanzera, the other white game balls and the crap mls balls... WHERE IS IT? Gents.. these things cost money.. it is the club money that is spent, it is your money... we should not be so careless.
that's about 20 balls in total... a few hundred dollars of balls and cones... plus a few hundred of pinnies..
the pinnies and balls should be kept by someone in JC who will attend training or arrange to have them picked up by someone who will seems our quartermaster mary is off for a bit.. who will take the responsibility of being accountable?
New Season Due to kickoff after labor day. I will distribute sign up forms in the coming weeks so we can register when the time comes (A here we come!)
New Kit waiting on word from DOB
Trophies waiting on GSSL - prob mid/late august as usual.
Sunday Red Bull Arena... separate thread on that, see you at the boozer.
lastly and most importantly..
WHEN IS THE SUMMER COOKOUT? Seanie has offered up his rental property in JC.. Gusto has offered to be grill master.. i'll be showing up with a few cases of the finest brews...
when is it? need a coordinator..... BFM!
