| Vanessa spent a few hours at the hospital last mnight after being biten by a dog and no not ours. This was a pitbull/Lab mix and was not supose to be out of its owners home. Vanessa is currently doing fine though the back of her leg has 2 puncture wounds as well as much swelling and black, blue and putple going on. She will not be making it to practice until the wounds are healed due to her still bleeding out. The wound is going to have to heal from the inside out which I am hoping that it stops bleeding soon as they would not stitch anything. She is in good spirits though isn't leaving the house without one of us nearby. I know she would like to come to practice even if it is to watch but as I have stated to her, until the bleeding stops I can not allow her to go anywhere. We may try and stop by tomorrow night even if only for a little bit so she doesn't miss a lot. We are hoping the dog is not sick at this point and are keeping in contact with anaimal control, and the police department. I will keep you up to date if anything changes at this time.
