Cheerleading competitions can be overwhelming at first, especially for first time attendees, take a deep breathe in and out. Good! Now relax, our athletes will do fine. All we can do is support our athletes and coaches and send them positive vibes.
Above all else, everyone should bring a positive attitude to all our cheerleading competitions. You are acting as representatives of your gym and community and as such have a responsibility to be polite and courteous of your opponents and the hosts of the competition. Let’s Go Ultimate!

Everything bag: should consist of at least these items listed below. You can add or take away items that you may or may not be useful for your athlete(s).

Bobby pins
Hairspray
Make-up kit ( don’t forget mascara)
Make-up remover pads
Deodorant (extra just in case) :O
Nail polish remover (Just in case one of the athletes shows up with pretty painted nails, oh no!)
Roll of scotch tape (helps to remove excess glitter on face)
Pony tail holders
Ladies ( ummm you know)
Band-aides
Baby wipes
Hand sanitizer
Camera, video camera
Chap stick (need for applying glitter on lips)
Excedrin (for moms?)
Earplugs (for dads ?)
Snacks: Granola bars, cereal bars, trail mix, pretzels, fresh fruit. Try to stay away from high sugar, processed foods: pop tarts, cookies, chips, candy, etc. (these only deplete your energy).
Bottled water (need to stay hydrated)

All My Best To All Teams!

Priscilla,

That is an awesome list! Just wanted to add Tide-To-Go pens. Great especially for those white skirts!

Good luck to everyone this weekend!

Gladys is correct ...
Parents & Athletes, please DO NOT post ANY videos of Ultimate routines on any website, including Facebook or YouTube!!!! This is very important. We pay for the country's best choreographers to do our routines and the last thing we need is to show up to a competition and have another team doing our stunts.

Some competitions do not allow video cameras, cameras, or food and drink. Just be aware that at the door they may ask for you to leave said items in your car. Usually at the smaller local ones they do not, as concession usually runs out by the first hour!!!!!!

Yes, correct about the food. The snack suggestions are for the cheerleaders which they are typically allowed to bring in their gym bag.
