| Just need a refresher on the rule of bringing that extra outfielder into the infield. Once they set up in the infield do they have to stay there the whole game or just that inning? Or can they roam back in forth?

| If you are talking softball or minor or major baseball, the rule book states that players can be placed anywhere on the field as long as they are in fair territory and not stationed between the pitcher and catcher so as to interfere with the batter. The only players who have a set position are the pitcher and the catcher. But our by-laws state that if you play 10 players you must have 4 outfielders.
If this is T-Ball, the extra player or rover must be stated before each inning if they are an infielder or an outfielder and whatever they are designated must remain that for the entire half inning. In T-Ball outfielders must be in the outfield.
