| Hi Guys,
I wanted to start a thread to see if there was any interest in league members looking to make a few extra bucks umpiring (for other players) in the league. I know each team has been assigned umpiring duties throughout the year, then the team captains assign each player a couple of games to do throughout the season (which is the fair way to do this, so nobody has to absorb the full burden of umpiring all summer). However, there are a lot of players that would rather not umpire due to inexperience, lack of knowledge for the rules, or just rather not umpire in general. So it was suggested that maybe some league members (who like to umpire), would like to earn some extra funds throughout the summer and fill in for any team/player that would rather not umpire.
If this is something that you are interested in, please leave your name and email address below so fellow league members can reach out when games need to be filled. I believe $25 per game was suggested with a two man umpire system.
