Century 3 Chevrolet Shuts Out Bowser
J.R. Leonardi (Pitt) pitched 6 strong innings, giving up 2 hits and striking out 11 in picking up the win. Dillon Buckley picked up his first save in relief. Along with the pitching, there were some great defensive plays by SS John Rende (Grove City) and RF Dave Durso (Point Park) to preserve the shutout. Aaron Krull (Mount Union) drove in Dave Durso in the 5th inning with the go ahead and winning run. Krull scored an insurance run in the fifth on a wild pitch. Pitching and defense has been the staples of Century 3 all season.
