Bowser Holds Off Liberty Boro In 7th Inning

The Bowser Twins each year are fighting for the regular season title while the Liberty Boro Vets battle for a spot in the opening round of the playoffs. Even though the two teams records are again far apart this season it doesn't mean a thing when they play at Wylie Field as Liberty Boro has won 6 of the last 7 meetings there and it looked like it was going to happen again. The Twins held a 5-3 lead going into the bottom of the 7th but the A's got their first two batters on 2nd and 3rd against Bowser closer Mike Finocchi. That would be as close as it would get as Finocchi struck out the next 3 A's to end the game.
