Bowser won the season series with an 8-1 victory at Clairton Park. The Mets had opportunity to score early but came up empty. Bowser grouped 4 hits & 2 walks along with 2 Mets errors to score 5 runs in the 2nd inning which would be enough for the victory. Cam Faychak, a junior at Elizabeth Forward played in his first Daily News League game catching for 3 innings. The Mets had another brother battery when Paul Adams came into pitch the 6th inning and his brother Mark Adams, a senior at Elizabeth Forward handled the catching duties.
