Anthony Garofalo Tosses Complete Game Shutout For Quinn
Quinn Construction continued their roll tonight with a 7-0 victory against Synergy Group. Anthony Garofalo hurled a three hit shutout as the Mud Cats won their fourth in a row and eighth out of their last nine. Veteran strong men for the defending champs led the way as Mike Hermann went three for three while Brooks Marzka shook off being caught up in a stadium protest tear gassing incident at the World Cup in Brazil to launch his first home run of the year. The loss tonight for for Synergy means that their game tomorrow is now a can't lose situations for them. The Blue Jays will host Sakas Landscaping at Helen Richey Field in the last game of the regular season. The winner of the game moves on to the playoffs while the loser will see their season end. If the game ends in a tie, Synergy will advance.
