Norman Saves Redlegs
In game 2, the Redlegs built a 9-1 lead behind the pitching Cam Adams , only to see the Indiana Chiefs come back on a furious rally to tie the game at 9 in the 5th. With time expired, the bases loaded, one out, and the winning run on third, Joel Norman entered the game. Norman calmly struck out the first batter he faced for the second out, the got a pop out to first to end the threat and take the game into "extra innings." The Redlegs offense woke back up, scoring three times in the top of the sixth, then Norman proceeded to retire the Chiefs as the Redlegs held on for a 12-9 heartstopping victory.
