South Park Shuts Out Barons Behind Matt Mish's 1 Hitter
South Park starting pitcher Matt Mish threw a complete game one hitter tonight to lead his team to a 6-0 shutout win. Mish carried a no hitter into the 4th inning when with 2 outs a Morgan Schmitt broken bat single ended the no hit bid. Mish walked 2 and struck out 10 in a dominating performance. South Park jumped out to a 5-0 lead after 2 innings and the score remained unchanged until a 6th inning Nick Arnoni blast deep into the trees beyond centerfield made it 6-0. Arnoni finished with 2 RBI, as did Ryan Dodson. Dodson and Anthony Monaco doubled for the winners.
