South Park Celebrates Father's Day With Victory Over Plum

South Park's offense was as hot as the temperature today as they put up runs in each of the first 5 innings on their way to a 13-4 win over Plum. Plum starting pitcher Nic Dibucci came into the game having allowed only 1 earned run in 14 innings but South Park put together 13 runs on 16 hits in the win. 9 of South Park's starting 10 batters recorded an RBI, led by Chad Jacob with 3 and Anthony Monaco with 2 RBI. Brady Benedetti and Arnoni each recorded 3 hits and Monaco, Dylan Kugler and Dylan Pounds each notched 2 hits. South Park starting pitcher Nick Arnoni worked 4 innings allowing 2 hits and striking out 3 in picking up the win. The Park defense committed 4 errors in the contest resulting in 4 unearned runs. Matt Mish took the mound in the 5th and allowed no hits while fanning 5 and walking 1 to finish the game. Andrew Dawson had a hit and a walk and Chris Conte had the other Plum hit. The two teams will play again Wednesday evening at South Park's Evans Field in an 8:30 matchup
