South Park Outslugs Gianna Via's 9-5
South Park overcame a first inning 3 run homer by Gianna Via's Ryan Roell to comeback and win 9-5. Nick Arnoni picked up the win for South Park, going 6 innings and allowing 5 runs on 5 hits and 4 walks while striking out 3. Dylan Pounds came on in the 7th and struck out the side on 11 pitches to negate any possible Gianna Via's comeback. Chad Jacob led the South Park offense, going 3-4 on the evening. South Park's bats were alive as Dylan Kugler, Carter Grote and Mike Spadafore all had 2 hit games. Grote drove in 2 and scored 2 with a triple and double. Anthony Monaco was 1-2 with 3 RBI on a single and a sacrifice fly and also reached on a hit by pitch. Ryan Roell drove in 3 with his homer and Mike Smith also drove in 2 for Gianna Via's.
