Terriers Fall To Toledo Hawks After Sixth Inning Score

Terriers lost the lead late in an 11-10 defeat to Toledo Hawks on Sunday. Toledo Hawks was down 10-7 in the bottom of the sixth inning when Scott Seymour hit a grand slam off of Garrett Crum, driving in four runs.

Garrett Crum collected four hits in defeat. Crum doubled in the first, singled in the third, doubled in the fifth, and doubled in the seventh.
Terriers took an early lead in the first inning. With one out in the first inning Crum drove in one run when he doubled.

In the bottom of the second inning, Toledo Hawks tied things up at three. Zach Honsberger drove in one when he singled in the second inning.

Terriers scored five runs in the fifth inning. The big inning was thanks to a double by Crum, a double by Austin White, a fielder's choice by Shawn Baker, and a double by Evan Maley.

#32 earned the win for Toledo Hawks. He pitched two innings, allowing five runs, three hits, and striking out one. Crum took the loss for Terriers. He went two-thirds of an inning, giving up three runs, four hits, and walking zero.

Brock Wenger started the game for Terriers. He tossed one inning, surrendering two runs, one hit, striking out one, and walking one. Todorowski started the game for Toledo Hawks. He went four innings, surrendering five runs, nine hits, striking out five, and walking zero.

Terriers had 13 hits in the game. Crum, Chad Matthus, Maley, and White each collected multiple hits for Terriers. White and Maley each drove in three runs to lead Terriers.

Toledo Hawks collected 12 hits. Honsberger, Riggs, Daleo, and Thomas Gulley each collected multiple hits for Toledo Hawks.
