Two Pitchers Team Up as Terriers Shut Out Golden Spikes!

Terriers defeated Golden Spikes Baseball 9-0 on Wednesday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Jon Conkle induced a fly out from Nick Mann to finish off the game.

An early lead helped propel Terriers to victory. Terriers scored on a double by Andy Fletcher, a single by Will Haueter, and a single by Garrett Crum in the first inning.

Terriers captured the lead in the first inning. Fletcher drove in one when he doubled in the first inning.

A single by Ethan Pawlak in the first inning was a positive for Golden Spikes Baseball.

Mike Eversole earned the win for Terriers. He threw seven innings, surrendering zero runs, five hits, and striking out two. Dylan Moore took the loss for Golden Spikes Baseball. He went four innings, giving up six runs, five hits, striking out four, and walking one.

Terriers collected ten hits. Dalton Davis, Fletcher, and Austin White each collected multiple hits for Terriers. White, Fletcher, and Davis each collected two hits to lead Terriers.

Pawlak went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead Golden Spikes Baseball in hits.
