Haueter Strong At The Plate As Terriers Defeats Allegheny!

Will Haueter gave Allegheny Athletics fits, as he bagged four hits in Terriers's 11-7 victory on Sunday. Haueter singled in the first, singled in the second, tripled in the fourth, and doubled in the sixth.

An early lead helped propel Terriers to victory. Terriers scored on a single by Will Haueter in the first inning, a double by Austin White in the first inning, a groundout by Dalton Davis in the first inning, a double by Tom Eslich in the first inning, a single by Jared Houser in the second inning, a single in the second inning, and a double by Davis in the second inning.

Terriers captured the lead in the first inning. Haueter singled on a 0-1 count in the first inning, scoring one run.

Terriers scored four runs in the second inning. The big inning was thanks to a single by Houser, a single , and a double by Davis.

Allegheny Athletics scored four runs in the third inning. The big inning for Allegheny Athletics came thanks to a single by Tyler Holland, a walk by Tyler Smith, a fielder's choice by Nick Satovich, and a walk by Michael Spadafore.

Justin Hovorka earned the win for Terriers. He went five innings, allowing four runs, six hits, and striking out ten. Jon Conkle threw one inning, as two relievers helped Terriers finish off the victory. Santino Platt took the loss for Allegheny Athletics. He tossed two innings, allowing eight runs, ten hits, striking out three, and walking zero.

Terriers collected 16 hits. Haueter, White, Luke Kail, and Mike Eversole each collected multiple hits for Terriers. Haueter and Davis each drove in three runs to lead Terriers.

Allegheny Athletics had 11 hits in the game. Nathan Owen, Satovich, and Corbin Kessler each collected multiple hits for Allegheny Athletics.
