Terriers Fall In Back-And-Forth Affair.

Terriers and Sylvania Lobos played a tight game, but Sylvania Lobos pulled out the 10-8 victory on Saturday. In the bottom of the fifth Liam Bloom doubled off of Andy Fletcher, driving in one run.

Terriers collected 12 hits and Sylvania Lobos had ten in the high-scoring affair.

Terriers took an early lead in the first inning. Terriers scored one run when Will Haueter doubled with two outs in the first inning.

Terriers scored three runs in the fourth inning. Terriers's big inning was driven by a home run by Evan Maley and a single by Austin White.

Zach Brown earned the win for Sylvania Lobos. He tossed four innings, surrendering eight runs, ten hits, and striking out seven. Brock Wenger took the loss for Terriers. He threw one-third of an inning, allowing four runs, three hits, and walking one.

Chandler Stahl started the game for Terriers. He pitched four innings, giving up six runs, five hits, and striking out nine.

Home runs for Terriers came when Jake Miller homered in the third inning and Maley homered in the fourth inning.

Jared Houser, Miller, Andy Fletcher, Chad Matthus, and White each collected multiple hits for Terriers. White, Matthus, Fletcher, Miller, and Houser all had two hits to lead Terriers. Terriers didn't commit a single error in the field. White had nine chances in the field, the most on the team.
