Terriers Take Game 2 to Sweep Double Header!

Terriers took the lead for good in the fifth inning to capture a back-and-forth game from Sylvania Lobos by a 13-8 score on Sunday. The game was tied at seven with Terriers batting in the top of the fifth when Derek Nelson induced Dominic Cistone to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored.

Will Haueter collected four hits in five at bats to help lead Terriers to victory. Haueter singled in the first, doubled in the third, doubled in the fifth, and singled in the sixth.

Terriers took an early lead in the first inning.

Max Adams earned the win for Terriers. He tossed six innings, surrendering seven runs, seven hits, striking out four, and walking zero. Derek Nelson took the loss for Sylvania Lobos. He threw four and two-thirds innings, surrendering nine runs, eight hits, and striking out seven.

Home runs for Sylvania Lobos came when Sedrick Gonzalez homered in the fourth inning and Kevin Suttles homered in the first inning.
Terriers had 14 hits in the game. Haueter, Austin White, and Evan Maley each collected multiple hits for Terriers. White and Haueter.

Sylvania Lobos collected eight hits. Gonzalez and Glen Crabtree each collected multiple hits for Sylvania Lobos.
