RED WINS IN 7th

Red made a dramatic come from behind win in the 7th inning after an extremely slow start. This game was all pitching and defence by both teams. To start the game the first 2 hitters for Red got on base. Then the next 11 hitters made consecutive outs & were shut out after 4 innings. Richard pitching had a 2 hitter going !!! Then Blue started the offence with a 3 run Home run by Wayne and took a 4-0 lead into the 5th. Red pitcher Ryan was also pitching a gem and limited Blue to a low score to give Red a chance to come back. Into the top of the 7th Blue led 7-4 and that's when Red bats finally woke up from the winter hibernation and scored 9 runs to take 13-7 lead. Ryan shut down Blue 1-2-3 to close the game. And Joel for the Blue team is the first candidate for the basket award. Playing rover a high pop up right under him. He called it "I got it" so loud people living in Dorval heard him. And then bang off his noggin and the ball dropped to the ground with a thud much to the laughter of his teammates. Game was played in front of 55,000 fans.
