Both teams short

After only being able to field 9 guys on each side this was expected to be a high scoring offensive battle with so much room in the outfield. Expectations were not met though as this game turned out to be a surprisingly defensive encounter. Blue held onto the lead for the first 3 innings with some spectacular catches and hot bats including 7/8 players reaching base and only giving one out in the first inning but stumbled later in the game stranding men with bases loaded twice. Green was not to be held back, exploding for 5 runs in the 4th and 5th to gain a lead that proved to be insurmountable (this time). Highlight of the game was Greg doing his best Anthony Gatto impression (look him up), and it must have been prom night cause 3 players popped their cherries on the same night and hit their first dingers. Congrats to Phil Dagenais, Vince Spinelli, and Greg Kelly. Cheers to many more (though hopefully not all singles) Special thanks goes out to Trevor Johnson for captaining the Green team and best wishes for a speedy recovery. Welcome, Chris. Watch the hip, seems to be the downfall of Green captains.
