Blue keep the streak alive

Once again facing a depleted opponent Blue took advantage early and often bringing in 24 runs. The biggest highlight of the night comes from Green's Razor of course becoming the first player to my recollection to earn both a basket and a Golden Boot Nomination in the same game! The basket nod comes from and easy pop up just behind third that he emphatically screamed "got it" and then proceeded to knock it off his glove and onto the ground, his hat went flying as well somehow. The Golden Boot nomination was earned when he hit a beauty to short right field too close for JP to catch it but as JP scooped it up and sent a missile to 2nd, Mike rounded first hard. Noticing his error he turned to go back to first but was facing half of the blue team ready for a rundown! Sensing his impending demise Mike lunged back and forth with the quickness of a gazelle but eventually reality overtook and Mike's body realized he was a 40-something year old playing ball on a Friday night and he crumpled to the ground and the goose chase was over. Not much else happened other than Cloune continuing his magical circus act catching a well hit ball with his left front pocket leaving Kevin standing on first saying "did he actually catch that???"
