Black wins with a walk off.

With injuries and vacations being a common theme for the Black team this year the softball Gods did show them a little mercy this hot and humid evening. Blue in typical fashion came hot out of the gates and they were not holding back. Blue started to pile up the runs however Ol' stubborn Black would eventually start to pick away and creep their way back to close the gap. This now leads us in to the open inning, Black's luck at this point seemed to be running out while Blue managed to put up 7-8 runs in the top of the 7th almost crushing all hope of a Black victory but a glimpse of hope still hung on. Black with 2 outs in the bottom of the inning eked a win via an opposite field double to right field, merci Nick Stewart for the walk off. Game over. Until next week. Stay safe out there.
