Coach Bedford 12U Make A Run Against Bobcats - MacLean But Fall Short

Coach Bedford 12U's effort to come back from down five runs in the second inning came up just short, as they fell 6-5 to Bobcats - MacLean on Saturday. Coach Bedford 12U closed the gap by scoring on a steal of home, a walk, and a steal of home.
Bobcats - MacLean jumped out to the lead in the top of the first inning after Dylan M singled, scoring one run, Maddox A doubled, scoring two runs, and a steal of home scored one run.
Bobcats - MacLean added to their early lead in the top of the second inning after Jace R singled, and Jace R stole home, each scoring one run.
Benjamin M earned the win for Bobcats - MacLean. The hurler allowed one hit and three runs over one-third of an inning, striking out two and walking one. Blake G started on the bump for Coach Bedford 12U. The pitcher surrendered six hits and six runs over three innings, striking out nine and walking four. Gavin G started on the bump for Bobcats - MacLean. The pitcher gave up zero hits and two runs over two and two-thirds innings, striking out seven and walking four.
Nate H went 1-for-2 at the plate to lead Coach Bedford 12U in hits. Blake G, Nate H, Peyton E, Case S, and Luke M each stole multiple bases for Coach Bedford 12U. Coach Bedford 12U stole 17 bases in the game. Coach Bedford 12U were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Nate H had the most chances in the field with eight.
Maddox A provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Bobcats - MacLean with two runs batted in. The outfielder went 1-for-2 on the day. Jace R and Dylan M were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected two hits for Bobcats - MacLean while hitting back-to-back.
