Sean Margison scored at 12 minutes, followed by a goal by Nova Scotia on a penalty kick by Mark Gardiner at 83 minutes, and then Margison scored again in the 88th minute to secure the Lions victory. Steve Sawatzky stood strong in goal for Sons of Italy.
