Vikings Advance Out of Group With Win Over South River

The Viking were able to overcome a 1-0 halftime deficit to win 2-1 over South River eliminating South River, Edison, and Sayreville in the process and advancing out of the group. The Vikings got a goal 10 minutes into the second half from Costa Villano off a free kick and 6 minutes later Mason Ianniello scored the game winner off a feed from Rohan Guddeti. The Vikings defense kept a shutout in the 2nd half to secure the win.
