The second half saw Dave McPhail and Vince Ferlaion each finishing on their goal scoring chances, while Steve Rebizant added his second goal of the match. The Lions played the match without 8 veteran players several of which are missing due to the start of the upcoming University (CIS) season. Sean Sylvestre recorded the shutout in the Lions net.
