Anyways, congratulations to the Utah Jazz for playing an all-around ball game last night (pakain agad kayo para hindi tumalab yung sumpa!!!hehehe) and to Milwaukee Bucks for easily handing out the trophy to the Jazz :-). December 10, 2010 10:22:48 AM Entry ID: 1851742 | The long wait is over! Season 11 Playoffs brought several drama that no other pinoy teleserye can match. The defending champion was ambushed by a team that no one expected to make a killing. The most dangerous, potent and championship-caliber team was also brought down to earth by the very same team that nobody, except for themselves, to pull a hell of an upset. On the other hand, a duo of scoring guards lifted up an entire team which composed mainly of hardworking and ever-reliable supporting casts, into the top of the standing. This is the season of giving but the game between Jazz and Bucks will prove that otherwise...Season finale starts now!!! Jazz...Though we knew from the start that this team will live and die with their guards, John L and Joel V (damn, this two should compete next time!), it's surprising that they are on the top of the league. Winning several down-the-wire games speaks volume about the character of this team. True enough, you cannot win with your superstars alone, the concept of a "team-game" resonates loudly in which the Miami Heat should look into. Veterans like Howard, and Roger added stability within the team. Randy still has the power to force his will inside that complements the game of the J's. Other guys such as Erwin, Chris and Edwin are all moving without the ball which make them beautiful to watch whenever they get a bucket. Defensively, they can limit their opponents with an average of 46 ppg not bad for a team that is known for scoring. Without a doubt, John and Joel can still get their scoring averages but Howard and Randy should be more consistent in order for their offense to flow smoothly. A high-scoring game will give this team an advantage. Bucks...This team surprised everyone when they defeated the two giants. With a convincing wins, their stocks got skyrocketed. The return of Merrick gave a power boost much better than Comcast to a team that experienced a five-game losing streak during elimination. They were even beaten by the lowly Orlando Magic. During the slump, they planned for something that might caught everyone off-guard. Surprise they did, eliminating the defending champs was a hell-of-a-task much more doing it on a much higher scale. Beating the championship-bound Blazers team proves that they are for real. Upon further reasearch, I now understand why this team plays an inspired basketball as of late. Three players (Ferdie, Bien and Jerry) have been established their breeding nests under the "Tree of OLATS" team. They are been there for more or less 11 seasons, sharing with the other 12 guys the same misery and agony of going home empty handed for that elusive shiny, golden little man that holds a basketball. They want to break the spell and a hardware for them makes a perfect gift for this xmas. Bogart is the best person who can relate and understand (been there, done that stuff) the feelings of these gentlemen. This is the reason why he's playing a superb sniping, consistently hitting pressure shots beyond the arc. Andrew David wants some redemption being away for several seasons. His matchup with Joel is an interesting plot. Nap gives stability on this team and put some pressure away from Merrick by hitting some runner. Bien always has a consistent jumpshot while Jerry (if he plays) will help the team in spreading out the opponent's defense. Ferdie should play the same intensity last time out. Yong proved to be the difference maker in their game against the Blazer. Duplicating his feat for this game will be the key factor in getting the W.... Conclusion: Being dormant for several weeks makes the Jazz little bit rusty while the Bucks are in the position to continue their amazing run. A high scoring ballgame will bring the Jazz for a picture-taking ceremony while a defense-oriented, deliberate game will dig the three kings out of the hole. The guards of Jazz definitely have the upperhand on this matchup and if they continue their usual assault, the game will be boring, while the bigs and the wing players of the Bucks will have a slight edge...
