General Sports Regulation 8.6
Interscholastic coaches in the team sports of baseball, basketball, cross country, field hockey, football, ice hockey, soccer, softball, track and field, volleyball and wrestling may provide individual instruction anytime outside the season of play outside the defined no-contact periods. Individual instruction is defined as no more that FOUR individuals present at one time in ALL COMBINED FACILITIES where the instruction is taking place.

Hunter Smith named All State
Fitness Test Results Announced
Attached is the results of the fitness test this morning. Congrats to Gus Dimmerling for winning the test with a score of 378 with Seth Durham coming in a close second with 370.
10 players scored over 300 points-6 fewer than last year. We also had 4 letterman do worse this year than last year. (one was injured so does not count).

Schmenk Named First Team All State and 1st Team All American

Alec Schmenk and Zach Kolvey played consistently well in helping Perrysburg’s baseball team to the Division I state championship team.
Now, the seniors are starting to reap the rewards off the field.
Schmenk was a first-team selection and Kolvey earned honorable-mention recognition on the All-Ohio high school baseball team.
Schmenk was honored as a pitcher and Kolvey was recognized as a catcher.
Members of the Ohio High School Baseball Coaches Association picked the all-state teams.
Schmenk dominated on the mound, posting a 9-0 record and a 1.09 earned-run average in 10 games, all starts.
In 641/3 innings, he allowed just 10 runs (all earned) on 32 hits with 76 strikeouts and 10 walks. The right-hander also had six complete games, including four shutouts, and opponents hit just .149 against him.
But Schmenk’s success was even more impressive because he entered the season with high expectations.
Even before his senior season started, he had signed a national letter of intent and earned a scholarship to play
collegiately at Toledo, and was named a preseason high school All-American by Louisville Slugger.
Schmenk was 6-0 with a 0.84 ERA as a junior.

Perrysburg Wins Regional Semi Final
Perrysburg won the Regional Semi Final defeating Southview for the third time this year 5-4. The Jackets play Olmsted Falls tomorrow at 12 pm at Madsion High School in the Regional Championship.
