The 3rd Annual Nick Adenhart Baseball Camp

***Camp will be limited to first 100 campers.***  

The Diamonds Baseball Staff will be presenting a one day clinic in honor of one of its greatest alumni, Nick Adenhart. Nick was a fixture at the camp growing up, first as a player, then as a counselor.
All proceeds from this camp will be donated to the Nick Adenhart Foundation.

The Camp Directors are Fred Kreiger, Phil Caruso and Dave Warrenfeltz.

 Congratulations to Brock Penn ~ District 1 HR Derby Champion 2013 !!!
Brock & Ethan represented NLL at the District HR Derby held at West End LL on June 8.  
Brock won the 12 year old division with 14 HR's.

 

 


 

 


Come  join your Team and their families at the National Little League End of the Season Picnic.
The league will provide fried chicken, hot dogs and beverages.
Each family attending will bring a side dish or dessert to share with your team.
Each team will have a table and be responsible for plates, utensils and napkins.

 Hagerstown Suns Night has been rescheduled
for Sunday, May 26.
   Game time is 1:05, gates open at 12:05
Players should arrive by 12:30.

Players must wear jersey & hat to be on the field for pre-game.

All Kids under 12 run the bases after the game.
The Suns also wear red jerseys to support anti-bullying.
 
If you can not attend that day, you can exchange your tickets at 
the Suns ticket office for a future Suns game. 
This was the only day available that worked with our game schedule.  Questions?  Please ask your team mom or a boardmember.

Get ready for Spring ~ Upcoming Clinics

 Maryland District 1 Little League Baseball will hold a clinic for on-field positioning and mechanics for umpires
Saturday March 2nd from 1 to 4 p.m. at Valley Little League in Chewsville.  Managers, coaches & parents are welcome.

District 1 LL will conduct a free rules clinic on Tuesday nights starting February 5 and running through March 5 from 6 PM to 8 PM
at the Church of Christ, 19644 Leitersburg Pike. Managers, coaches and umpires are encouraged to attend.


                    
Annual Election ~ Sunday, July 28 (1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.)  The annual election shall be held the fourth Sunday in July from 1pm to 5pm. Only current Members in good standing are eligible to vote. The Members may vote for up to the number of positions available on the Board of Directors as established at the Annual Meeting. Ballots with too many candidates marked will not be counted. 
If you are not able to attend, please request an absentee ballot.  
The absentee ballot shall be properly completed, SIGNED and returned in a SEALED envelope prior to the date of the election.


 

 

National's 11-12 B Team will be playing in the Adam Kees Tournament at Mauganville Litte League.  Please go out and support our kids!

If you missed registration, we will be at the field tomorrow accepting registrations for T-ball and Minor league starting at 12 noon. Tryouts for Minor League will be at 12:00 weather permitting.

                  Saturday, March 16  - 12 noon – Tryouts for all 7 year olds and new 8 year olds 

                  *Players who were not drafted to a major league team and 8 year olds who played minor

                   league last year are encouraged to attend.

 

 

                  * Registration & tryouts for Major League have completed.

                    Major league draft will be Wednesday, March 13 and every effort will be made to notify

                    players within 24 hours.

                    Major League practice for some teams will begin Thursday, March 14.

REGISTRATION FEES INCLUDE: $20 Registration Fee required per child plus the following: (Returning players must register.)

IMPORTANT: At registration, the following is also required:

FUNDRAISER: Twenty (20) - $2.00 raffle tickets must be purchased at time of registration. ($40 for first child (20 tickets), $20 for second child (10 tickets), no tickets for remaining children.) After you sell your raffle tickets, you keep that money collected because you paid for them at registration. This is our only fundraiser.

CONCESSION STAND: At registration a separate deposit of $20 per child is required. Upon completion of concession shift(s) required for the National Little League’s Thomas Evans Tournament your deposit will be returned to you in cash. Failure to work required shift(s) at the Thomas Evans Tournament will result in your deposit not being returned. The Tournament is a major fundraiser for our League and benefits all players at all levels of National Little League.
