West Penn
West Penn field map / directions
1. The field is near the Strip District and Polish Hill. If you reach Polish Hill, you’ve gone too far !!
2. Follow Liberty Ave ( parallel with Penn Ave & Bigelow Blvd ) until you get to 28th St. TURN RIGHT ( or LEFT, depending on which direction you’re coming from) on 28th St , and cross the 28th St Bridge. You will be going by the Conrail station.
3. After you cross the bridge, TURN RIGHT on BRERETON.
4. Turn LEFT onto HERRAN , and follow up to the field, which is back in the woods, kinda like a campground. I believe we will be the first ( closest to the parking lot ) field,.
*** as with all our fields, the quirks are what can get you . with this field, it’s the quick Right / Left / wind back into west Penn Rec center that can get you. Remember, if you go to Polish Hill, you’ve gone a bit too far.
