Board Meetings
The Dandridge Youth Football board generally meets on the second Wednesday of every month at 6:30 P.M. at Eddie Reneau Field. Any changes to this or any additional meetings will be posted as a news item at this location as well as the main calendar. The meetings are open to the public and the board encourages any interested party to attend. The board can and will on occasion ask for a closed session. Closed sessions are typically only requested when the board must vote to fill positions, i.e., directors, head coaches, assistant coaches, etc.
Meeting Procedures
While the board does encourage participation from interested parties, we would like to keep the meetings as polite and orderly as possible. Therefore we ask that the following procedure be followed for anyone wishing to address the board during a meeting:
- Send an email to dandridgebroncos@gmail.com at least ten (10) days prior to the meeting you wish to speak at. In the body of the email please include a brief summation of the subject that you wish to speak to the board about. Also, please include your full name and a telephone number you can be reached at.
- We will reply via email to let you know that your request has been received and acknowledged. Please print the response email out and bring it with you to the meeting. It is your confirmation and you will not be allowed to address the board without it.
- We ask that when addressing the board the comments be kept brief and to the point, preferably taking no more than ten (10) minutes in length.
General Questions
We understand that issues will arise where someone has a simple question or issue that does not require addressing the entire board. We ask that these questions be directed to a board member and/or a director. The most effective way to communicate with the board is by emailing to dandridgebroncos@gmail.com. That email is monitored by both the President & Vice President of the board. Should you wish to call, all board members and director's phone numbers are listed in the “Board Contact Info” section of this website. Miscommunication is usually at the root of most drama in little league sports, and we as a board are going to great lengths to see that those truly wishing to get good information can. In addition to the above mentioned contact info, we also have an official Facebook page where comments can be made, as well as an open forum section on this site where discussions can be posted. There should be no reason for someone seeking good information not to be able to obtain it.
